The Undo Book is a companion guide to the Undo app. Published in 2024, it presents the app’s 14 chapters in written form, covering Natural Meditation and physical and mental health treated as a single system. Available in print and as an ebook.
The book addresses the body-mind understanding that underlies the app, the clinic work, and the retreats: how unresolved experience accumulates in the body, why thought-based approaches don’t reach it, and what changes when the body is finally allowed to complete what has remained unfinished. Some people come to it before the app or direct work with Matthew, wanting to understand the method before engaging with it. Others read it alongside the app, using the guided audio meditations to complement it. Others prefer the book to the app, engaging with the same content without a screen. Any of these work.
Treating physical and mental health as one isn’t a premise the book argues for. It’s what 39 years of direct work with the body has consistently shown.
